HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO REGISTER AN EMPLOYEE?
The quick answer is…..immediately. The moment that there is an agreement on the candidate, this candidate will have to receive an offer and then if he accepts the offer, he will be asked to sign an employment agreement. So, the moment he signs this agreement, the employee is considered as having started work officially. There is no obligation to obtain a pre-approval from any public sector agency, and this is true even if the employee is a foreigner. The Employer needs however, at a later stage, register the employee with the National Social Security Fund. So the process is simple, not demanding, not burdensome, and can be completed within 24 hours.
